One way my life relates to the crucible is that a couple of years ago my sister made a bad mistake and blamed it on me. She got away with it and I had to take the blame, she was older and so had the power of trust against me. It was her word versus mine and my parents sided with her. Abigail in The Crucible parallels my sister by the fact that Abigail accused many innocent people with no evidence against them.
After my sister got away with one thing she started to do it for everything she did. Letting the dog out and blaming it on me, breaking a bowl and blaming it on me. Just as Abigail began to accuse people of higher and higher status, court officials became suspicious. My parents also became supicious of my consant mistakes when they were not around and began to question my sister. Fortunatly, like Abigail and the other girls and the court officials my parents finnally saw through the deception of my sister and reprimanded her for my needless punishment.
